Catering & banquets, the Prasai's way
“Serve delicious, authentic Thai cuisine at your next event!” — how the restaurant fed the town's parties, in its own words.
“Serve delicious, authentic Thai cuisine at your next event! Prasai's Thai Cuisine catering service will work with you to plan a menu that is sure to impress.” That was the whole pitch, and Twin Falls took the restaurant up on it for years — office parties, business dinners, family gatherings, all fed from the same kitchen as the dining room.
The banquet room
The downtown location kept a banquet room seating forty people. Guests could order from the standard menu of authentic Thai cuisine, or the kitchen would build a customized menu for a business gathering or party — reserved with a phone call to 733-2222, the downtown line.
Wild game dinners
The most Idaho line on the whole site: “Prasai's can do wild game dinners! Phone us to make arrangements, and we will be happy to prepare your wild game.” Bring the kitchen your elk or your birds, and it would cook them with Thai technique — by arrangement, like everything else in the banquet room.
Catering today
The banquet-room era belongs to the downtown room, which has since closed. The kitchen itself still answers at THAI 2 GO on Fillmore Street — for current catering or large-order arrangements, call the restaurant directly at (208) 735-8424, and see Prasai's today for hours and ordering links.
